They look nice, but I have too many bikes anyway

what job do you want the frame to do. the frame is less than 40 quid. you get what you pay for when its cheap. you pay for a name when its expensive. The middle ground is more than 40 quid

The seller is registered in China yet the listing states Nottingham! I know most frames are made in the Far East anyway but I'm always wary of such sellers.

Also the comment, "Note:Tow Style,Random Delivery! It maybe a little paint removed in transport,Thank you for understanding!" has me wondering WTF does that mean!!

I also worry about their feedback. I know they're shifting a hell of lot of shite, sorry I mean stuff, but they do seem to have a lot of negative and neutral feedback!!!

Lastly, if you decide to roll the dice I'd ask about the weight of the thing. Nothing is stated in the listing and 'High Carbon Steel' to me sounds like it could be made from pig iron!!!!

Save people butchering nice old frames into 'fixies'xx(

Going by where the seller is I think they may be old Raleigh frames that someone dug up (from the pit someone buried em in) and are flogging em off quick.

Has there been a new 'Major Development' in Nottingham recently.

I'm sure that old people used to turn their old frames into 'fixies' every winter for training on to develop souplesse and to save trashing expensive derailleur bits with ice and salt, so how come it was ok then for them but not ok for young people now?

From the look of it they are only available in fluoro green or pink - which would be enough to put me off in itself! They are a nice-ish shape (horizontal top tube, yay) though.

Could be a good "project" bike for school clubs etc. Nice and cheap, interesting colours and kids could learn a whole lot about maintaining and servicing a bike - just as important as being able to ride well. If they balls it up some how (or decide that this is not their thing) it has not broken the bank.
Any idea what components it needs - modern or old school? Important when considering ease of shopping for spares...

I should think you could use either or even a mixture, but not worth putting the Sunday best on it
