Cheap winter bike / build

Any suggestions for a cheap winter bike?
Either one ready built ready to buy... Or suggestions for components to build a cheapo?

I was going to fix up my old Apollo for Halfords, but I think it's too far gone...

I'm tempted by a single speed, just for a bit of fun as it will only be used for commuting for the winter.

I know I'm being a bit vague, but I don't really have anything else to add ... Cheap and Cheerful

Update... Think I'll be picking this little one up for about £40 ...
