cheapest straight bar

Hi,
i have an old mtb i use on my turbo. I tried to fit some old tri bars on it last night so i could get a better position. Unfortunately they didn't fit too well as the bars have curves in them near the shifters. So I guess i need a straighter flatter bar - does anyone know where to get the cheapest?

the bike is a cheap mtb with a sort of riser bar see the pic below

the tri bars fit on the 90 degree bends - so I want something that is almost straight across so i can mount the shifters and tri bars eaiser..

If it's just a flat hadlebar you're after most bike shops have a bin full of them under the workshop bench which they'll likely let go of for peanuts. Or, more likely, chocolate Hobnobs.

Take the tri bars with you to make sure they'll fit. Road bike bars - to which tri bars are usually fitted - have a different diameter to mtn bIke bars.

oh ok didn't realise they were different diameters.. was going to measure any way as I need to cut the tbar in half as it's currently a n shape and too narrow as i have wide shoulders.. will have a look at the weekend

it's 22.5mm which seems to be a little smaller than most out there (25/31)
