Carry on. If you got off and pushed it they would complain about something else.
Is it not illegal to go mountain biking on rural footpaths any more then or is that something else?
Also, I doubt he'd have time - he said he only saved 2-3 minutes.Really?!?!?!?! Seems a bit extreme!![]()
Which of course would take up double the space and make it almost impossible for her to pass.Carry on. If you got off and pushed it they would complain about something else.
I'll have a rummage in my handbag to see what I can find. Will a receipt from Morrisons do?

My alleyway does have a no-cycling sign but only at one end.... and is marked on the council cycle routes map. I get through slightly faster (therefore less likely to meet someone) if I glide through on the bike but get off and walk if I meet one. Lots of cyclists do use it, but they don't tend to be the going sort fast, as it isn't that type of alleyway, it's more the type that avoid main roads. If the signs say no cycling then you shouldn't be cycling. Sorry to be a spoilsport but we can't just pick and choose which rules we like. You may be considerate of pedestrians but that doesn't mean that everyone has been or will be.
We do.
There are no signs at all of any description. If the signs say no cycling then you shouldn't be cycling. Sorry to be a spoilsport but we can't just pick and choose which rules we like. You may be considerate of pedestrians but that doesn't mean that everyone has been or will be.
Mis-read your post - the line reading "there are no signs saying no cycling" caught me out. My bad. As you were. There are no signs at all of any description.
Thanks for your continued input.
