Hi all,

Apologies to anyone not from London, I know these threads can be annoying!

Does anyone know whether cyclists are allowed to cut through chelsea harbour to join the embankment? I know it is perfectly possible to do it as the barriers don't come all the way to the edge of the road but I was just curious as to the legality etc.

It seems like a much quieter and safer route that going up onto the kings road if you want to get from Wandsworth bridge to the embankment without going through the snarl up at the bottom of the harwood road.

Any info would be welcome.

Cheers,

Ed

Simple question, simple answer. Thanks!

Still interested in the legality of it though. The road is closed to most motor vehicles except residents'. Will get digging.

Cheers,

Ed

Not quite, just the centre of the galaxy. Recent research has shown that there is a supermassive black hole at the centre of the galaxy....:eek:

Oh god, what have I started!?!

I did know about busses and taxis and I can't see why there would be a big problem with cyclists except that I'd have expected it to be a little bit more cycle friendly if it was actually permitted.

Will keep pluggign away and see how it goes.

Cheers,

Ed
