I had a look at the Cheshire Oaks shop on Thursday. I know they had Jawbones for around £130, because by coincidence my £10 Chinese copies arrived the same day and I wanted to compare them to the real thing!

They'll likely look similar...however, I wouldn't trust the protection offered by the lenses other than for a bit of afternoon pavement posing

gb - do you just want something that looks nice or will protect your eyes from the sun (or just bugs)? You suggested that fake isn't the way you want to go - otherwise, eBay is your friend presumably

The fakes look pretty good. You wouldn't get away with trying to sell them as the real thing, but I'm happy with them. I think some people have found that buying the copies and putting proper lenses in works out cheaper than buying the real thing.

Thanks

What Jawbones did they have?

I'm pretty sure I saw them in all-white, LiveStrong yellow and black and I think there was a green pair - I only glanced in the window but they had loads of others too.

Thanks

Ironically I was in hospital on the wirral for a while and had loads of post op apps, each time passing Cheshire Oaks

I found that Ribble Cycles were quite cheap (it's all relative) for Oakleys, didn't buy any from there but got Evans to price match.

The other alternative is the 40% discount Oakley will offer if you have an old and knackered pair that they are unable to repair for you.

I ended up with a paid of polarised red iridium flak jackets, now everything is a little rose tinted

The cheap way is Chinese and then pop some VL lenses in them.

I got some Livestrong ones for £25 off the bay of pigs. Very realistic.
