Children's breakfast telly

    Does anyone watch those breakfast time children's programmes? My favourite used to be Peppa Pig on Five, but after some initial hostility, I started to find The League of Super Evil (BBC2) entertaining in a knowing way. Now my favourite is Horrible Histories, especially the Stupid Deaths sketches.

    Having two daughters my children's TV viewing tends to be slightly more feminine than when I was a lad. Current favourites are Little Princes and Postman Pat. Not as keen on Postman Pat Special Delivery service though, I struggle to see how the economy of Pencastor can support a special deliver depot with a van, motorbike and helicopter, only to deliver a single parcel each day - I bet their postage costs are higher than ours, despite the recent price hike. God, I have watched too much of this...

    Preston.Preston he's the best 'un. Preston Pig books.
    I am 62 with no grandchildren,but my reading level is really poor.^_^
