You arranging?

If you can, put some time aside for a cycle mounted gymkhana. Look up Pony club games online, and see what you can adjust for bikes - stuff like picking something like a hoop or beanbag up from a pole or box and putting it on the next, slaloming, relays etc. Plenty of scope for good bike handling and precision, and a bit of competition for fun. Depending on the number of kids and their ages and concentration spans, I reckon you could fill anything from half to an hour.

A few ideas here:

What would you expect from a 3 hour children cycling activity during Easter holidays?

Contact your local Go-Ride coach(es) via the British Cycling website. They'll have plenty of ideas.

Slow bike race is good - but to really be sure of winning, use a trike....

Can you get hold of anyone local with any unusual bikes, like tandems? Giving a kid a ride on the back of one of them will be a real novelty to many.

Good idea. Here in Bury there's a tandem club for the blind.

Obviously they go out with a sighted pilot.
