Chocolate aversion therapy

My wife is a chocolatier who works from our small factory also known as the kitchen. This year she has gone from selling at local markets to supplying a rather big high end department stores which is great but has meant we no longer have a kitchen for days at a time. Yesterday we started the first big Christmas order for said department store. The house is now full of boxes of shiny packaging, gold ribbon and 70 kilos of milk and dark chocolate.

I always loved a bit of chocolate but now after 12 months of living with it I would say I think I have been conditioned to no longer enjoy it as much as I did. I am sure there are other members who must work with things others love but now just see as work and not pleasure?

Personally I've become ultimately removed from the idea of paperwork. Thats why i now set fire to my desk when it becomes too much to bare.

I get the same response from everyone, "what you don't like chocolate" etc.

My wide makes amazing flavoured fair-trade finest quality chocolates and I do enjoy it on occasion. Just onto the third batch into moulds to complete part 1 of the order. We still then need to package it and then push on over the next four days to ship on Monday. I will be sure to post some photos. And here is some chocolate logo she also makes...

Currently only when she is at market or at selfridges. She is getting her website up for sales in next few weeks.

Dark chocolate is good for you I read it in the Mail so it must be true

It is good for you indeed. I have used 10kg of the stuff this morning and all I can taste is 72% cocoa dark as I have been eating little bits as it keeps me ticking over when moulding. Maybe this is why I am not such a chocolate fan anymore?
