That's exactly what I was going to say, apart from the belly bit that is.

Keep eating...

I go to Cadburys, as it was, in Bournville for work and always love the smell of the place.

Everyone who works there though always says to me, "nah, you just get used to it." What a shame.

I'm not a fan of cheese and onion having lived near the Golden Wonder crisp factory when I was a kid. Most of my friends' mums worked there and had boxes of the stuff in their houses. If the wind blew in the right direction there was a distinct whiff of fried potato in the air. (I say 'right' direction only because if it blew the other way we got the sulphurous stuff from the chemical works.)
My friends from the other side of town lived near a soap works. They smelled lemony

I grew up to the west of Slough, so occasionally when the wind blew in the right deprecation we could smell Mars bars! I expect if I lived the other side I would have grown to hate the smell. Even better my next door neighbours worked there, and they used to give me chocolate, more than my Dad would give us (he worked for Nestle so it wasn't as if he couldn't have got some!).

That's no biggie, Nestle's chocolate is cr@p IMO

You are forgetting that as a kid we certainly didn't have as much chocolate as now a days, and I remember a few of them, there used to be a pink panther bar, and one that had some kind of space dust in it. Milk tray would have been posh back then!

Pink Panther bars were minging, if the alternative was nothing though I'd still eat one.
