Aha! I see what you've done there ;)
What'd I do?
Yorkie's are made by Nestle's(formely Rowntree Mackintosh's). Down the bottom end of Halifax.

I assumed, (wrongly it seems), that you knew how I make a living

Vernon the new cafe sells pies.I think they only had three types, pork, pork with mushy pea filling and the third i have forgotten.Nice latte though oh and flapjack.

I'm a bit precious when it comes to pie buying. I try to buy from butchers. With only two exceptions, Malton and Northallerton, I have yet to have purchased a satisfactory pie from a deli or bakers.

I will get around to sampling a pie or two from them, I can't condemn them without trying them but I draw the line at buying a coffee there - I can't bring myself to buy lattes or any fancy named coffees anywhere. They are poor value.

While the cost of the coffee served in a medium-sized £2.20 cappuccino is just 8p, the total cost of the cup, lid, stirrer, napkin and sugar amounts to 16p.

I'm currently drinking a coffee made from Aldi ground coffee in a Bialetti - made in less time that it would take to walk to the cafe and back and costing pence to make leaving me a quid or two to put towards my chocolate fund.

I'm a bit of a philistine as I don't really like chocolate very much. I prefer fudge. Ooooops I'll get me coat.

Fudge! Every time I see it, it brings back memories of the 7 year old me when a friend of my Mum's came to visit from Scotland bringing a huge tin of fudge and when the adults were all sitting in the kitchen talking, they didn't notice that I ate the lot and got ever so slightly sick! I've never felt like eating it since

When I was at Uni, I worked at Kinnertons Chocolate and I didn't eat the stuff for years after.

That Lego chocolate looks fab. What fun.

What I really miss on the York Selby cycle route is the cloying smell of Terry's Chocolate factory. The chocolate orange aroma ....

Now all you can smell is the slurry being spread on the fields from afar.
