I suppose it could be useful then cycling off roads on trails, from what I read trek dual sport 2 has a lockout for the suspension which seems like a good versatile option

I would go with this due to weight, which is good for a bike of this price. Cheapo suspension heavy and not that good. Hope you enjoy the new bike. Keep your eye out for 2019 models at a BIG discount you can sometimes get 30-40% off in certain frame sizes. :okay:

Im 5.25 (160cm) and bike will be used mostly for recreational rides rather then heavy duty trails

Honestly even a small will likely be too big for your height. Ugly too with that weird fork!

I’d get the rigId fork Boardman 👍 you can presumably collect it locally too?
Agree with @vickster its 5ft 2 to 5ft 6 height range, so will be too big. I have test ridden exact same bike and thought it was big for given frame size. :okay:
