I saw him at a charity ride once, and seeing them "in the flesh" is a jaw-dropping experience.

He was a really nice bloke as well, but told me I should call Yorkshireman a shortarse if I ever saw him.

I've seen him in action at the Velodrome in Manchester three times now. Immense

Jamie Staffs legs are even bigger no? and there is a Scottish rider Craig Maclean who I think has even bigger thighs. He's a bit of a short arse though.

That vid had me in stitches. @1:00 it looks like he filled his trunks...I thought he took them off to show the skidmarks.
