Rachel Whiteread. I like what she does for the same reason I rather like the Lloyd's Building, even if Lloyd's doesn't. It subverts the idea of a building in an interesting way.
I have to admit that I don't much like Emin's stuff - I prefer minimalism, the mediaevals and other stuff which is unconciously archaic (in modern terms) and what I've never found a better term for than abstract representations - finely detailed and usually very accurate pieces of art which are about the shape the subjects make up rather than the subjects.
