Let me know what time you're eating and I'll be there. :hungry::hungry: .

this year we are having turkey will all the trimmings, and i'll be making a couple or three cakes as well.
I love my baked gammon. I boil it then put it in the oven with a honey and orange glaze :hungry:

I eat whatever is put on the table by my Mum. Usually turkey, although one year she got all experimental and we had a bird in a bird in a bird.
A three bird roast?

I like the look of those partridge, duck, and turkey things.

I've just got to convince everyone else.

Neither my wife nor me can abide turkey so that is off the menu. We have a big pork joint and a big beef joint plus the usual odds and ends of pork pies, sausage rolls etc. I wonder how many of you remember when beef and lamb was cheaper than chicken, so come Christmas dinner a nice chicken was a real rare treat and a change from boring old beef that we had every week.

Okay, we're fairly traditional here, the usual turkey crown, baked gammon, pigs in blankets and veg etc.
I don't tend to make desserts but usually buy something really nice.
Oh and a cheese board for later in the evening

Do you eat something different, a take-away, or eat out?
We're having the mother in law for Christmas lunch Oops is that sexist.

Because our families live 100's of miles away and are adverse to travelling we wont have anybody to fall out with on Xmas day, so to celebrate this happy situation Mrs S and I shall be having our lunch with friends in a nice French restaurant in York where somebody else will be doing all the preparation, cooking, and clearing up.
