Preparing to start wrapping prezzies!

I'm rubbish at wrapping but always give it my best shot, just wish I was neater!

Just put "Santa's Sleigh" away (AKA the Mule trailer, after doing the present delivery rounds this afternoon - very exciting since the trailer came back heavier than it left :becool:

Now having a cuppa before heading off to the pub.

I have to do 2 pubs with 2 lots of folk, but I want to go for a Xmas morning pre-dinner bike ride out to Longshaw, with a bag of swan and duck food to give the ducks a special Xmas dinner....but unless I want to stand at 12-deep bar queues every time, I'll have to join the rounds.

Might resort to a few bottles of "Bitburger Drive" to pace myself to be in any condition for the morning, and otherwise stay on the Farmers Blonde or Easy Rider (no, it's not a country pub, I'm not saying that the farmer's blonde is an easy rider!!)

Absolutely nothing!

Present buying and wrapping was done months ago.

Final Christmas grocery shop was done three days ago.

The only thing left to do is to hang the Christmas stocking up for the kids (aged 17 and 20).

However I am preparing to get drunk.

I'm browsing and listening to some cool tunes.

Also doing my best to put kids off the scent "What, you want what? No way, it costs too much".

It will have to be a 'New Year' present I think.
I just need ideas and can't think of anything. Maybe I will have to make something.

Chinese or Indian cookery gift set? I bet you can find a shop that sells woks or baltis that's still open. Throw in a few bags of suitable spices, tie up in a ribbon and bob's yer auntie

I am having roast Turkey tonight. :hungry: The potatoes are browning nicely, stuffing balls (ginger and plum) ready to go in the oven.

I am consuming orange juice laced with gin, and watching the end of Miss Marple.

Nothing. My sisters are at their in-laws for Christmas Day so we're not having our Christmas dinner until 27th.
