Having seen star wars on Monday, I can confirm there's nothing weird about it, and I was able to choose and eat the snacks at my own pace. All in all, recommended.

For the record, I went for beer and popcorn

Absolutely right. What a strange question to ask - although I have come across one or two people who wouldn't dream of going to a restaurant or a pub on their own either, for some odd reason I don't really understand.

With you on the pub; no probs going there alone.

But going to a restaurant alone strikes me as a pretty miserable experience. I've done it on business trips and TBH I'd rather eat in my hotel room

The Ritz ballroom in Brighouse sold sandwiches and pie and peas during the Paul Carrack gig that I attended the other year. He queued with the punters for his pie and peas.

It's grim in an empty hotel dining room, I'll grant you. But the meal I had in Sault on Boj Nov night last year was great! Except that every time I made eye contact with someone they'd raise their glass, I'd raise mine back and drain it, and I was slaughtered before the cheese arrived. farking brilliant. Sorry, what was the problem again?
