Claris shifters

Hi , ive just changed my drop bars for flat bars and have replaced the Claris 2400 shifters with flat bar Claris R240 Brake/shifters, works well but can anyone explain how to set up the "trim" on the front. replies most welcome. tom.

Short answer: you probably just need to twiddle the adjuster on the front gear cable, which is often where the gear cable goes into the shifter or into or along the frame. IIRC winding it out moves most derailleurs to the right, in to the left.
