Hiya,

About a month ago I fitted some M2s to my MTB using Xmas and birthday money. At first, both front & rear worked perfectly. But now the rear requires me to pull the lever right back to the grip, but if I pump the brake lever it returns to the as new firm feeling. Does this mean I need to bleed the system?

The brakes shouldn't need bleeding in normal use. I have never had to bleed mine in many, many 1000s of miles. However there are some things you shouldn't do with hydraulic brakes and one of these is turning the bike upside down. If you have then this might be the reason you need to bleed them
