I quite often enjoy the funny news clipping read out on R4's The News Quiz and watching last night's Reporting Scotland on BBC delivered a cracker.
The report was about Edinburgh Council's plan to close a number of public toilets.
During the interview, the local councillor Lynn Hindes said, with all seriousness, "...we are in a financial situation where we have to examine very closely ever single penny we spend."
