You think they might go to the trouble if having fixed bolt down points on the CAT and corresponding ones on the lo loader. Also why isn't the bucket tilted inwards.

We demanded RAMS forn any contractor working on site and in a way, theyre so open ended and vague theyre often quite pointless.
Some contractors who'd never had to produce them blanched..but worded simply, task, precautions, adhere to site rules, tidy up and leave no mess often suffices...
Others might produce really quite detailed and specific ones.

Usually they've copied a generic one, adapted headings etc...yeah, that'll do.

I've found that 99.9% of the time the person insisting on them, hasn't got the first clue as to what the job involves, I suppose for a large building or engineering project you need to know what's happening, when & how it's happening, for my job where it takes longer to fill the laptop in, than do an inspection of a fork truck, it's a complete nonsense, especially when they try to put you somewhere more dangerous than if you were left to get on with it

Volvo electric tractor-unit (the first such vehicle that I've knowingly seen!)
Willowbridge Lane (A655)/roundabout with Leeds-Barnsdale Road & Lumley Hill
(from jct31/M62, towards Castleford)

I'm not sure if it was a FH, or FM
It was a 4x2 unit, as a 6x2 'midlift' probably wouldn't have sufficient space for batteries?

I had a window open, as it was quite warm today (if wet)
I'm sure I heard wheelspin, as it left the roundabout, but that could partly be the tyres fitted
I understand that low rolling-resistance tyres are fitted to eke out as much range as feasible, but, that harder compound might not grip as well?

I expect the torque is considerable.

Edit - peak torque is less, but the eleftric produces max torque from 1mph, and remains constant at all speeds so the tyres probably have their job cut out.

What's the range.

I guess many retailers could use them from RDC to store which I reckon are generally under 100 miles with a half hour turn around?

180 miles or so. at a guess?
Dependant on route/degree of regenerative braking?

I have it on good authority it's around 170 miles with no trailer attached,chocolate teapot springs to mind
