My dear wife & daughter, had to admit they'd bought me a subscription for 2025 when another copy of the January issue arrived in the post
https://www.truckanddriver.co.uk/

Plus, a parcel arrived a couple of days afterwards, with the free (coolbag/'organiser') gift for subscribing!
I had a look, & they're £39.99!!

How about excavators?

All the above at the Threlkeld mining and excavator museum in Cumbria. Whilst it's more an excavator graveyard as yet, some are starting to be done up. At least they've not been broken up, and have after all lived outside in rough conditions all their working lived

I know there used to be a 'cabled' excavator, up at the 'Sovereign Crossroads', where the A629 (Huddersfield - Barnsley) & A635 (Barnsley - Holmfirth) intersect
I drove past the quarry, with daughter yesterday, & to my surprise it's still there, but traffic precluded stopping

Having looked, it's part of PMW Quarries, whose bigger yard is to the weat side of the crossroads, on the road to New Mills/Holmfirth

Scania T-Cab (‘tag lift’)
T124
470BHP?

Outskirts of Wakefield
Close to the M1

It’s lived there for quite a few years!

Plus an ex-Hansons Atkinson to the rear
This is probably a 8x4 tipper (or was)

I passed this yesterday, whilst out with daughter (she'd been told to take me out), there's another Scania there now, a 'P' series?
Plus, the T-Cab has a white bonnet at the moment (new, or just being painted?)
