Can anybody tell me if the claude butler urban 300 2009 version has fixed front forks as opposed to the 2008 model which has front suspension.
The reason im asking is because i want a bike to commute to work 8 mile each way. I would say it is about 80% hilly road and 20% off road, nothing to rough.
I wonder which would be the best option.
cheers.

It looks like it has a 63mm suspension fork

What is your budget ?

I don't know about that particular bike but according to one site it has fixed forks but according to another it has suspension forks
IMO fixed fork are better because suspension on cheaper bikes only eats in to your momentum and it also weighs more making it harder.
Iv'e just had a look at them mate and one of the sites is showing a picture of the 2008 model[brown] with suspension.
The other 2009 model black fixed fork[ i think].
I think most on here seem to think fixed forks are the best for that type of commute,so i,ll take the expert advice and go for that.
thanks.
