So, I bought a brand new mountain bike on Sunday. A beautiful Trek 4500D. Had the usual run around to check out the gears were indexing correctly and the brakes performed.............. hydraulic, boy oh boy, they're awesome stoppers.
What I did notice when I initially got the bike home was that the meccy that prepared my bike had been quite liberal with the grease. There were several oily marks on my beautiful matt finished frame!
Question for you guys. What's the best way to actually clean a matt framed bike? Is it a soapy wash, rinse then dry off?
