Mine haven't done the same mileage, but getting there. Got 1,615 on first and 1,768 on the second. Probably add about 300 onto the first actually, as no computer for the first couple of months.

What are those wheels btw? Very nice!

being no expert, and being somewhat hardup, I purchased this one

It seems ok to me, but as I said, not an expert. I have changed the pedals to look keo (I think thats what they are called) but otherwise, nothing else is changed

I have also been informed using expensive cycle oil for your chain etc is no different from using a drop of clean car engine oil which I have used myself, if the oil is good enough to look after my car engine in extreme temperatures it is good enough to lube my cycle chain.

Nope. Engine oil is not bicycle chain lube. Just as surfboard wax isn't candle wax isn't sealing wax isn't hair removal wax isn't beeswax isn't the wax they wax waxed cotton with. Engine oil is better than nothing. Or rust. But it ain't chain lube.

Light, no issues with cross winds and very strong (for the heavier rider who carries luggage...or commutes across potholes with a rucksack) you can loose the decals too if you like them less busy.
