I always keep the oily rags in a metal can with secure lid. Do not want any spontaneous or otherwise combustion burning the shed down.
Can could explode, if the vapours inside are created quicker than they can escape!!I always keep the oily rags in a metal can with secure lid. Do not want any spontaneous or otherwise combustion burning the shed down.
You'd get a good few months of mickling out of a normal size towel!
Although its best to use the a non oily one on the baby, the wife gets a bit annoyed otherwiseWhat the man said .... They're quite useful for babies too ....
+1 for chainsaw oil.+1 They do a decent job. Oh, and my personal preference is chainsaw oil. Cheap, readily available and blended not to fling off the chain (provided you use it sparingly and wipe, wipe, wipe off the excess as per the Mickle method).
Not if you put degreaser on it first, the citrus type of course, as it tastes better .Leaves your tougue a bit mucky though
but, to clarify.......do not clean your chain with a baby. What the man said .... They're quite useful for babies too ....
Ah, you've overdone the emotion. Wipe, wipe, wipe the tears away.It brings a tear to me eye so it does.
Keep gasoline and naptha out, and it should be okay. Can could explode, if the vapours inside are created quicker than they can escape!!

Sorry I mentioned we had a can, but when I was a lad, it was the one we used to get the ground glass and gravel in for breakfast, along with drainhole tea....and we used the can for 10 years without washing it, water much too dear. Just hit it now and again wi' an old clog (when we had 'em).
