Hi.

Im after a pair of racing tyre slicks

I know Conti Gatorskins and all Contis are fantastic though Im after something different

Im looking for something a bit retro like the Vittoria's though the price is a bit high for my pocket. Puncture resistance aint what Im looking for either. Im after performance, weight, and something fast n cheap. Something in the price range of £35 a pair

Thanks

You can get Michelin Pro3 Race with light beige sidewalls (think they are called ivory). You can get them for about £20 each online, now Pro4 Race have come out.

The older I get, the faster I used to be ...
How about these - bit over budget, but out of the ordinary (they ARE clinchers in spite of the name)

How about these tubular clinchers from Tufo? Something a bit different, and according to some combining the advantages of tubs (comfort and speed), AND clinchers (ease of use). Phenomenally light too.

I have Tufo tubs for cyclocross, and the quality is exceptional. They ain't cheap though.
