Try the MKS 585 US - L. They’re compatible with Look cleats, and are made in such a way that there is much less force required for unclipping, yet are still very good at retaining the foot. Tension has three settings.
SJS stock them.
I also use MKS half cages and MKS long steel toeclips (without straps). The former keep the foot nicely on the pedal - cage-type touring jobs - and the latter do a similar job. More cumbersome than clipless, but pretty good off road when wearing boots.
