You could organise the ultimate bike delivery relay from Laaarndan to Scotlandshire. I reckon a string of CCers could get it to you.
A bike relay of CC members is a great idea! After all, the jersey relay seems to be... Er...

delusions of being a touring cyclist could prove costly......

Now to go touring

The thought has been crossing my mind to get a one way flight to Gatwick and RIDE it home....
Well, if you stop and turn back every time there's a wee drop of water falling from the sky you may see home again in 2050 ^_^

Collected it today and I like it. There's always that wee bit of trepidation when buying on ebay, but all seems good. Needed a bit of fettling of gears and brakes, and more will need done when I get it home.

Had it out on maiden trip today, just a 25 mile saunter around Henley on Thames area. Looking forward to getting some touring miles done this summer. Weather please play nice!

Have now finished the fettling. Wheels swapped for the Spa cycles ones I bought a couple of years ago; brakes and gears sorted with Koolstop pads fitted; headset stripped and greased; mudguards swapped for ones which are wide enough for the tyres; Brooks saddle fitted; computer, Crane brass bell, and new pedals fitted; and a general clean up. Feels more like "my" bike now, rather than a second hand e-bay purchase!
It came with a Tubus rear rack and standard front rack which are easily re-fitted for panniers.

Now let the summer return so I can go touring!

Can't help thinking it'd look better with a quill stem but it is a cracker of a bike :becool:
