A council rubbish lorry got stuck under a bridge in the centre of Birmingham a couple of years ago. You'd have thought they would know that bridge is low. Last thing i saw was the tyres being deflated to try and get the truck out.

Also, there was the one up here a few years back where school kids were being taken somewhere in a double decker. The said double decker hit a bridge at speed, and several kids were killed.......

That is one of the funniest things I have seen for a long time. Then again, I do have a wicked sense of humour.

I did see mechanics resorting to the famous ''If all else fails let the tyres down'' approach for a lorry jammed under the railway bridge at the end of Trundley's Road.

Duh-uh - why dint he let the tyres down before going under the bridge?

My Dad saw it and wasn't too impressed
