Does anyone know where I can find the route details of the C2C ride that follows as near as possible, Wainwrights walking route, from St. Bee's to Robin Hood's Bay.

I think I've got the little book about it somewhere; if I can find it you can have it.

Did it a few years ago with a couple of mates, we were camping using a circus marquee of a tent.

Was hard work!

Yes, the Coast to Coast Mtb ride is hard work, esq camping. It is known as "Wheelwright's Coast to Coast".

It does follow the "Wainwight's Coast to Coast Walk" route as close as possible, however, it does go over Black Sail Pass into Wasdale instead of Honister Pass. But you could go over the Scarth Gap Pass and stay on the Wainwright's route using bridle-paths.

I'm planning to do the Coast to Coast this year, but undecided as yet, if I should do the walk or mtb ride. I did the walk last year, so the mtb ride would be nice to do.
