Coffee Syrup........anyone use it??

Following my purchase of a coffee maker (which I love) someone bought me a selection of coffee syrups for Christmas.
TBH I had never heard of it.
Have googled it so I see the principle.
Just building up courage to try one.
Any CCrs use it ??

Apparently it isnt sweet.....despite the name. Everything says that if you have sugar (which I dont) you will still need it.
It is purely for flavour.

The syrups never did it for me. I get much more enjoyment trying the different beans from around the world. Footprint Coffee in Wales is a fantastic, small supplier of very disparate growers from farms all over.

Have a caramel one. Same they use in Costa very nice indeed ..

Doesn't mean it's any good...frankly the coffee from the big coffee houses gets worse and worse...the flavour such as it is may actually need masking

Why not try it for yourself if you have it, one man's meat and all that. You might like it. It's just not for me. Hazelnut flavoured coffee is among the foulest things I've tasted beverage like...second only to rooibus tea (which some people also seem to like)

Different strokes and all that, if I fancy one with a syrup shot, I have one, if not it's a straight coffee, simples

A 750ml bottle of syrup was my least successful present to Mrs L at Christmas LAST year. Looks like she's tried it once in 366 days :-(

I used to like that , I think Sainsbury sell a brand like it , bit sweet really , I've been told that Mcdonalds is proper ground stuff ,

Yes - even though it now comes in a plastic bottle and they've whitewashed the label.

I'm with @vickster. I'm not interested because I like the taste of coffee. I'm also suspicious of concentrated flavours, as they can taste pretty manky in my experience.

I'd also be suspicious of this. Syrup is sweet by definition.
