Cold callers

Any one else not like cold callers, just had two, first one wanted to allow him to power wash my roof perhaps breaking lots of roof tiles and blocking my drains, the second lot just wanted me to give them my bank details for some charity i never knew about?

Both times i was told that my neighbours have availed them selves of there services, my reply both times was no and its none of my business what my neighbours do. Always surprised that some one thinks they have the right to call as and when they feel and expect that i have to listen to all there sales pitch no mater what i am doing and then get upset when i tell them no i am not interested?

I appear to have two ways to prevent cold callers:

1. Stop Tweeting documents that embarrass the NHS & Health Ombudsman.
2. Take the phone off the hook.

Thus far I opt for the latter.

I just say, 'no thanks,' and close the door when they're mid way through their first sentence, never fails. 😊

Small laminated sign saying ‘Not Welcome’ effectively: mounted right next to doorbell.

If any idiot ignores that - upon opening the door….no words are spoken by me: I merely point to the sign, smile - and shut the door on them again.
