Cold commute

Looks like first real cold spell tomorrow morning in the west mids. 1 degree according to met office. time to get my base layer out.

I saw on the news this morning that the cold weather will be hitting oop norf ways.....

was about 4 deg this morn, but the weather channel stated it "feels like 1 deg".

I quite like it when the temp drops to these levels. I don't have to think about what to wear.

It was 9 degrees this morning but the forecast is for it to get colder during the day as the wind changes direction.

Last few days have been much colder up here, only a matter of time till the snow hits

You didn't look too cold at the bottom the the bredbury hill at all mate

Run in temp was +4 deg C but the wind chill brought it down to about 0 deg C. Bib longs dragged back into service and buff because I hate having cold ears.

Deffinately dropping cold tonight on the way back. Looks like the weather reports going to be correct, I think I'll have to try and track my buff down, it's been a while since I last saw that lol.

Looks like I've chosen a good day for my first ever cycle commute tomorrow - 12.5 miles each way; dark but busy country roads and plenty of hills. Might as well jump in at the deep end.

Good luck. Just enjoy it. Hopefully it will be the first of many. You can only get wet once and besides, skin is designed to keep water on the outside.
