Saw most of it myself on my 42 inch TV. Thank you Sky.
Glad that Ireland is my team as I would have no fingers left if I was an England fan
Mind you our boys have given me some tense finger biting finishes lately. Like the historic matches at the World Cup in the West Indies and last summer's ODI with your boys over here that we managed to lose from a winning position, although it was one of the boys you stole from us that won it for you in the end

I was there to see that game. Took great pride in knowing that I had played a small part in the development of two of Ireland's players on that day, Kyle McCallan & young Paul Stirling. Both boys played their first adult games with me as their captain. Kyle way back during my first season looking after our 3rd XI having retired from senior cricket and Paul a few years ago.
Kyle has just retired from International cricket. He played over 200 times for his country, captaining the side on numerous occasions. He started as an opening batsman and became probably the top off spinner in the world outside the test playing nations. Paul first played on my team when he was 8. I said from the start he would play for Ireland. He has turned out to be even better than I thought. An exceptional talent. He's probably good enough to play for England, but unlike Joyce & Morgan, I think he'll stay loyal to Ireland.
