We've bought 2 (in a 2 for £10 deal at the supermarket). One's for some friends - the other will be lucky not to be opened before the week's out as Mrs B and daughter both have colds and are on the hunt for 'comfort food'!
I found a tin of Roses in one of the kitchen cupboards a month ago. Don't remember buying it though. Expiry date was Nov 2010 - so someone had to eat it .
Though they seem to be mostly fatty toffee/caramel these days, so ended up being incorporated into a flapjack recipie.
Apart from deciding who we'll spend the day with (i.e. relatives) I refuse to engage with Christmas before 2nd week of December. I'm not a total grinch, I actually enjoy it, but I will not have 1/6 of my year dominated by it. But here I am, posting on a Christmas thread... doh!
I haven't thought about the Christmas chocs yet - I'm still chugging the Halloween ones after my 'let's not answer the door' wheeze worked so well, full tub of Celebrations remained intact.
Seen quite a few adverts on TV lately, i'll be leaving the shopping till mid December. During December I love it and get into the spirit, just November is a bit too early for me.
