On Day 10 at Inverness, where cue sheet reads "take exit 2 on to Harbour Road", you might consider taking exit 3 towards the A9 interchange. There is a dropped kerb on the way up the slope towards the interchange where you can access the joint user path, turn left alongside the A9 northbound carriageway towards the Kessock Bridge. At the next rab follow the path up the A82 until you come to the Toucan crossing. cross there and turn right to follow the path on to the Kessock Bridge. ( The latter roundabout is light controlled, you might find it easier to hop on the road on approach to rab, taking 2nd outlet then rejoin the path at a layby on your left to cross the bridge)This suggestion would reduce overall distance by 2km and avoid several junctions in the Longman industrial area which is often congested with motorised traffic during the day.
