I normally travel down Finnieston Street to the Squinty Bridge but with the Commonwealth Games starting soon, the Council is closing roads and bridges around the SECC.

I don’t like using the Tunnel and thought I would cross the Clyde via the Tradeston Bridge. I did think Argyle St then Houldsworth Street but from there I’m stuck.

Any suggestions?

There's a bridge over the Clydeside Expressway next to the Bridge to Nowhere. You can use that to get along Cheapside Street and on to the Clydeside path underneath the Kingston Bridge.

Thanks, Rasmus, I will go for look on Saturday, can you ride on the bridge, or is it pedestrians only.

I tried this route out and the bridge is rideable, on the Clyde side there are steps and a curb, otherwise a great alternate to the Squinty bridge, thanks Rasmus. And only a mile longer.
