I alternate 8-4 and 10-6. So with 15 minutes to get changed and down to the basement I leave work at 10 past :?:
The A13 CP is OK, a lot smoother than the Barking Road.
Mind the speed bumps down The Chase and the bees and the debris from the burn out car at the western end.

I finish at 6PM tomorrow, not sure what time you do Sig?

Perhaps I could take your route back My. Cellophane.

i'll keep you posted re: ride home we could go A13 cyclepath.I normally go back a totally different way home: whitechapel, mile end ,stratford ,ilford, chadwell heath then go across at jutsums lane but its a pretty busy route and I wouldn't want to put you off;)

getting over to go over bow flyover is a bit tricky also coming up to stratford I used to go round the one way system before realizing theres a cycle cut through which is much better

Well my first commute never happened! I got everything ready last night and then realised I didn't have the key for my lock. I hunted around until after 11pm until I finally gave up, I was really looking forward to it. Especially after the people at work joking that it will "never happen" bla bla bla. I was hoping to prove them wrong, lets hope I can do that if I buy a lock today and ride tomorrow.

PM returned - Mr. Cellophane.

Maybe I'm not as slow as I thought. I was riding away, now and again checking my phone's GPS to make sure I was on course. Then I started to recognise where I was, 2 mins later I'm outside the office!

compared to my normal rides the A13 and A12 seemed like the devils highways to me, never relaxed once on them.

The A13's not too bad, the cycle lane makes things a lot easier. :biggrin:To be honest, the worst part of the A13 is cycling past the Goresbrook Leisure Centre when the proles are out.
