Woke up realising I had caught a cold from the disease magnet in hour house, young child. Not bad enough to warrant skiving taking sick leave and the weather was far too nice for using the car. Scalped by a MTB, while I was waiting for the lights to change at a pedestrian crossing. Made my day that, despite the efforts of the MTB rider I was able to catch them very easily without actually putting any special effort in. Un-scalped myself, pulled away, he caught me again while I was waiting at a RAB and choking on the fumes from the lorry in front, he then decided to try to undertake me on the way round the RAB, but again I pulled away. Other side of RAB, slight incline and pulled away even faster, made me happy I decided to ride in. I think I am finally used to my new Marathon Plus tyres extra weight and higher rolling resistance.
