Surely a £10 note not coins, think of the weight saving:smile:

What if you need change.... loads of things dont take notes, like Phone boxes (if you can find one that takes cash)...and...er...hmm

On a serious note I carry the following.

Spare Innertube *1
Tyre Levers
Topeak all in 1 tool
Cateye lights
Mounter Water Bottle
Clip on frame pump.

Most of my items on the bike are quick release so don't need a spanner but a 6 / 8mm allen key thus the Topeak tool.

Clothes are usually Lycra cycling shorts and a pair of leg warms incase it's hot and then I can put the leg warmers in my ruck sack, cycling top with a spare normal long sleave T-shirt if I get cold, Lightweight running jacket with High-Vis inserts.

All I have for a 27 mile round trip is:
spare tube
Magic patches
small pump
small multi tool
tyre lever
Surgical gloves
tape (insulation, not Hits of the 80's)

mini button lights are on the bike in case the regular ones fail.

Keep it light. If anything fails that I can't deal with then so be it
