Commuting tyres for racebike

I have begun commuting to work by bike and having started with a mountainbike I now realise my racebike would be (a lot) quicker - however I am wary of puntures and riding on wet roads.

Any suggestions for a decent all-round trye for a racebike?

I have Continental Sport Contacts on my flat bar road bike and they're good.

They're a slick but with good puncture protection. They come with Continental's puncture protection guarantee - they'll replace tyre and tube if you get a puncture within 1 year of purchase.

New tyres also come with free tube.
