I'm not a commuter and just ideally wandered in here this morning.

For the two miles you describe I would use golf over trousers. I also use these when walking in rain and they are 100% effective.

To ride 10 miles in the rain I'd just accept getting wet. Nothing will keep one dry in rain over that distance. Plenty you can do to minimise it but not stop it. I do mean rain not the odd shower or drizzle!

What train station do you ride to? I like the idea of those secure bike lockers they have at Stourbridge, Rowley and Cradley.

Rowley, and its the secure bike shed thing that im using.
Its key card entry and has CCTV and can probably accommodate roughly 15 bikes. Im impressed i must admit. Better than leaving it out in the rain all day. I would lock an expensive bike up there but its fine for #LarryTheBeaterBike

I'm sorry that you have not yet got any decent waterproofs and hope you find some in future.
