What's Starva? Is that no calories?
Calories is guesswork based on the numbers you put in your profile. Probably pretty inaccurate.
Elevation is the total upwards vertical distance covered (after some application of smoothening algorithms). It does not include any information about the horizontal distance needed to achieve the vertical gain.
When comparing ride difficulty, I generally just look at the total elevation/distance ratio for rides in a similar distance range.
