I do enjoy some cookery shows such as Masterchef Australia or when chefs tour abroad because i like learning new techniques and recipies but watching cakes being baked is a bit boring.

I much prefer eating them

Masterchef Australia is hilarious. Properly OTT.

I'm almost starting to feel sorry for the people I work with who try to engage me in conversation about TV programmes:
Them - did you see <enter name of programme>?
Me - no
Them - you should watch it, it's about <start to tell me a rambling story about what happened...>
Me - there's a reason I didn't watch, I'm not interested
Them - Oh.
...
Them (a few minutes later) - you must have seen <enter name of another programme>?
Me - take a guess.

Yes there was the Custard scandal, then the Ice Cream Scandal, the replacement of the mixers with an inferior model and now a betting scandal......

Who knew that the world of baking was so vicious, corrupt and underhand!
