Btw, this is the best forum you could have posted on to find friendly people who will encourage you on your rides. I went from 200 miles in 5 months, to 1000 in last two months since riding regularly wth the folk on here.

I am happy to report, I survived - I think! Pat is a star with the patience of a saint :-) I even did more riding than walking this time. I still refuse to do even the littlest hill - for now.
