Completed my first 100 miles

I completed the Carten100 Cardiff to Tenby ride yesterday. 103 miles which I rode in 9 hours. Up to 74 miles I was doing ok but the hills of west Wales along with the brutal headwind made the last part really hard.

Chuffed to make it into the harbour finish and furthest I've done in a day so far. Great training for the Dublin ride as well!

I was riding in Swansea when loads of the Carten riders were there. I found the out and back 25 miles that I did hard in that wind. Well done.

Thanks guys! It hammered down with rain for most of the last 10 miles but that wind down parts of the coastal sections was just unbelievable!!

It's the second big event I've done this year now and both times the weather has just been completely against us.
