LOL, it was a 528i, and I drove it better than my other car. More relaxed, more tolerant and more patient. I'm not sure that's saying very much though.

Lovely car to drive, comfortable beyond belief, handled very well. The bad bits were the fuel consumption and the price of maintenance. Funnily enough that was at the dealer FixedWheelNut (remember him?) works at.

They do look nice but why are they driven by complete tits?

Perhaps I must look out more for them.

Im sure there must be a good BMW driver out there.

Forgive me, I have not read all of this thread but here's my two penny's worth.

1. It happens. Every now and again we all do something we are not proud of. Good on you for admitting it. But then again, it doesn't sound that bad (although of course none of us - not even you it seems - know exactly whay you said to this person).

2. My oft used reaction to this situation is to beckon the driver towards the bumper of the car in front as if I am guiding him into a tight parking space. Then thumbs up and cycle on.

That doesn't go too well though and that's when they "lose it" completely and start using their vehicle as a weapon.
