Reading around the internet people seem to rave about the Aldi tops; bugger that they're only special buys.

Planet X 365 base layers are compression and keenly priced.

They look decent, but no collar on them. Otherwise bloody good prices!

The Aldi ones are quite good quality. I stopped using mine as I decided I didn't like compression tops and unfortunately I threw them out or you could have had 'em. But at least I can confirm they're good when they come out.

Can you repurpose the collars from the defunct tops (sew them on?)

Yeah, sorry. I didn't notice the collar distinction on the existing items. Have you tried wearing a buff with a standard collar?

Threw them out?
I would have used them for bike polishing/cleaning.
I bought one compression type top by accident. Don't like them - like to feel relaxed on the bike.
Can't ditch the idea that folk into compression gear pay to be flogged with bike chains.
