You can turn off some of the stuff in 'Settings' in most programs, but it's a bit late to worry as they already know everything about you...

More than you know about you!

Check for remote desktop connection, and disable it.

It's too late. The genie cannot be put back into the bottle. Every bit of privacy we had has been (unknowingly, maybe, but) willingly clicked away.
Who reads all of the agreement when installing stuff?

A wise person stated "if you are not paying for the product, then you are the product", and there's more than a grain of truth in it. On the other hand, most of this sort of thing is about pimping adverts: people who listen to this buy that, or even the person (singular) who listeed to all this is likely to buy that - possiblh without necessally knowing you are (named person). would be slighlty miore creepy if they tey and sell you cycle parts, especially if you get Dear Mr Reiver
